I admit it, sometimes I just love to wallow in self-pity and depression. I have a playlist on my iPod called “Melancholy” which is meant to bring some beauty to my depression. If I need a gorgeous depression to encourage my perversity then Three Colors: Blue would be my first choice. It is a mood piece about a woman grieving the loss of her family and the blue filter over each scene is a perfect companion to sorrow.
